"Stay 4 nights and get the 4th night half price. This offer valid from 1st June 08 to 31st August 08. Please mention this offer when booking"
Charles and Vicky Dornton would like to welcome you to their home. Hilltop House was built in the late 18th Century. We welcome familys (incl. babys), cyclists, walkers, sightseers, dogs, visitors to the area and business guests.
The house still retains many of its original features including cast iron Coalbrookdale fireplaces in all the bedrooms, shutters in the lounge and an impressive oak fire surround in the dining room, which still has the original quarry tile flooring.
We offer luxurious bed and breakfast facilities, in peaceful surroundings.
On arrival, refresh yourselves with a complimentary pot of tea or cafetiere of coffee. Relax over a home cooked breakfast in our dining room, whilst enjoying the stunning views over the Gorge. Please note, we can provide gluten-free (coeliac) and vegetarian breakfasts and cater for other dietary requirements. All produce is from local suppliers (and may even be from our own garden........!) and we make our own jams and marmalades
After a busy day at the museums, have a soak in one of the bathrooms, before sauntering out for a bite to eat (only a 10 minute walk).
We are family and baby friendly and also can recommend a baby/child friendly pub only 10 minute walk from us which welcomes them in the evenings as well. We have some baby equipment you can borrow (ie. feeding chair) so do give us a call and we will make the whole family feel very welcome.
The house has close ties to Ironbridge, being previously owned by the Roden family. Serjeant Roden was one of the 12 founding subscribers to the Bridge. Additionally, Hilltop House is just 3 miles from Much Wenlock and close proximity to Telford
Charles and Vicky look forward to sharing their home with you and helping you plan and enjoy your holiday.
